Why is June for a lot of people the best month for sailing?

The weather is warmer in June and the swimming season for the locals starts. The beaches are more and more busy and everything "is getting full of šušur". "Šušur" is a common local word for crowds and a lot of people in one place.

Here are some reasons why is June for a lot of people the best month for sailing:

1. No noise

Beginning of June is the transition period from the preseason and high season. Everything is still relatively quiet, but there are more people than in preseason. This period of time is the warm up for the high season that is coming. All of the restaurants, shops and bars open and islands come to life.

2. No families with kids

There are no kids running around and no families with kids making noise. You are wondering why? Well of course school! The school year ends mid June and families with scholars are planing their vacation for end of June or the rest of season. That is why in it is always so calm in June. No scholars, no students!

3. The weather is warm and nice
