Traveling with a car to Croatia - these are the places to visit

Take your time and drive with your car to marina Kaštela and visit all the cool places on your way to the perfect sailing holiday in summer 2022. This won't be a bad idea once you see the list of all the cool places to visit in Croatia.

1. Crikvenica - Ljubavna cestica

Crikvenica was developed on the site of a Roman era settlement and military base called Ad Turres. It is a popular place which is visited by many tourists. One of very popular attractions is Ljubavna cestica (Love path). Take a break here and have a walk to stretch your legs and enjoy some fresh air.

2. Vidikovac Slipica - Eyes of Vinodol

From this look out place one can see, Velebit, Velebit channel, the Kvarner island, Učka, Novi Vinodolski and valley of Grižane. Look for yourself :)

3.  Nin - Vir

These 2 little places next to Zadar are worthy of visiting. Nin and Vir are well known for their beaches.

Nin has one of the longest sandy beach and "miracle" mud. People love to smear the mud on their body and have their perfect little spa day in the open. The Queens beach in Nin is perfect for families with children - children can play with the sand and mud.

Take a break from the long ride on Vir. Vir is an island connected with the land by a bridge. Vir is also very popular place to visit with family and children. It is very safe and the waters on each beach are super clean. One of our favourite beaches are the Red rocks. We wouldn't recommend to go here with kids, as there are many rocks and the entrance to the beach isn't child-friendly, never the less it is perfect for people who want to have privacy and feel like they are on an abandoned island.

4. Zadar

Zadar, its old town, the promenade and the sea organ (one of the most interesting installations in Croatia). If you will be here, definitely visit this installation during the sunset - you will not regret it.

5. Čiovo - Gospa od Prizidnice

Čiovo is a beautiful island between Trogir and Split. It is connected with land by bridge. We recommend you to take a break and have a swim here. Once you feel refreshed go to Gospa od Prizidnice, a really worthy place to visit.
